I really don't have much of anything to report, assides being rather sick. My poor throat is killing me--though it's funny when I first wake up as the most I can get out is a little squeak....followed by coughs etc and then I can talk, though my voice still sounds funny XD Yeah... also: sneezing huuuuuuuuuuuuuurts I can't find the thermometer right now, but I'm 95% certain I'm running a fever at the moment

Also, I am without my computer for another week or so. It's been acting up, so I brought it in to GeekSquad again and they opted to send it out, yeah... In other news I really haven't been drawing......at all. but I'm hoping that will change once either A: I get over this sickness or B: I get my computer back. lol.

Once I get my computer back and I'm not sick anymore I think things should go back to normal and I'll get back to finishing requests

This is just the super-special-awesome-happy boost I've been needing for the last 3 1/2 yrs XD If it hadn't only taken about 9hrs to pass it would last long enough to get me out of my depression hole, but it's a start at least XD

Where have we heard this before? XD Although it's been a while XD

Anyway, I'm mostly going away because due to recent issues I've been having for some time, I'll hopefully in the next week or so be talking to our vets and then probably going in to the doctor and getting tested for toxoplasmosis (and probably any other diseases you can get from cats >_> since, if anyone in the house were to get a disease from a cat it would be me as I'm around them the most and I'm also the one who's barefoot the most >_< ) if the vets think that's why I've been having such issues lately. I know I have issues from time to time, and everyone misspells stuff from time to time on the computer, but I've started doing it writing on paper, and to a worse extent (and there are other thigns to, I'm just not thinking straight today >> )and I just can't think of any reason I'd be deteriorating like this unless I had picked up some disease that's messing with my brain.

It was kind of set off when last night I left a note for myself on the mirror downstairs to flea treat the cats and I actually misspelled my own name without realising it. It's the weirdest thing too, because I distinctly remember writing my name on the mirror and it being correct when I left the bathroom. And actually I think the only reason I noticed it today was because Jess left a note on the mirror above mine asking about why I'd misspelled my name >>

So yeah, after today and maybe tomorrow I'm going to be on an internet hiatus for a couple of days....maybe a week or three while we clear this up. I picked today, well because of what happened but it works out *perfectly* since Tuesday J&D:TLF comes out so I'd have been offline for a while anyway XD

Yes, I am well aware of the fact that I owe some art, I know Ayamemaiden won't mind waiting since with her tarde I started waaaaay early because I know I procrastinate anyway XD On the other two, I'm really sorry, but I will get them done--just because I'm on hiatus doesn't mean I won't post them if I get them done before I'm 'back'. So yeah, I won't be getting on the computer at all unless I have a completed trade to post. So, for now except for GolFan97 and Unoraptormon, Trades and Requests are on hold until further notice.


Hopefully I'll at least be feeling better, if not actually better when I see everyone again

And by updates I actually mean fursuit-related, finally. I'm still not 100% decided on what I'm making () but the right footpaw is like 70% done now, after like 5hrs of work @.@ It's actually turning out 1,000% better than I was expecting my first paw to turn out I think I'd be ready to fur it by now if I hadn't decided to stop for a while to left my knife cool down. I've got this awesome electric knife that mom found in the garage that has really helped--although it didn't like cutting through the flip-flops I'm using for the paw pads, and got hot enough I think I could have melted my glue with it Assides from a tiny blister on my left middle finger from an incident involving hot glue, the whole process has gone very well It's funny, of the several dozen times I dripped or accidentally touched hot glue whilst working on the paw I only got burned that one time I decided that it was because at first it was ok because I had a good ammount of dead skin on my fingers, but every time I got killed by the glue, pulling it off took some of that skin with it--so towards the end it was really starting to hurt XD. In other news, I am getting better with a glue gun

Anyway, I finally finished my old sketchbook, although I have 3 pics I'd like to go back and finish properly (including a Jak sketch I intend to put on a shirt eventually). Mom got me a set of new sketchbooks, that I thought were close to my old one, but they're perferated and seem to be a lot cheaper, so I'm unsure of whether to give in and just use them or see if we can return them.

**If you're actually excited about Dark Daxter, have seen the vid and are still happy about, I would suggest not reading further XD;;; **

I mean, died to the point where I actually feel obligated to email Naughty Dog and point out that "Their big Jak fan"(as seems to be my nickname on their Twitter, from the two visits I've made) is appalled at what she just saw (won't stop me from brining cookies, but still....I feel the need to tell them just how much this is most likely going to hurt the franchise a LOT...) and I've never felt strongly enough about something that I was actually ready to write up an email and send it in(politely, of course).

Dark Daxter......if you've seen the video you probably understand the title @_@ Oh gawd...I really hope we don't have to put up with this for more than one or two levels or I am going to almost completely regret paying $32 for this game D: Oi....that was the most horrfying 7 minutes of Jak-related gameplay I've ever seen. ;_;

Yeah, I've known about the Dark Daxter feature for a while now, but I figured it'd be ok and maybe even be fun...but this? Not to mention the fact that having Daxter go dark doesn't even make sense by any stretch of the imagination, especially when you consider the fact that as far as we know Jak is completely unable to go Dark Jak...wtf. And I had been so unbearably hopeful about this game too D: Idk maybe they'll find a way to explain it away or something--but no ammount of plot/etc can get rid of that horrible voice acting.....gah! Those vocals alone did half the damage >_o


Other than that, I'm ok (except the part of my that Dark Daxter senslessly murdered) nothing much to report.

Ahhh, typing all that out made me feel a lot better. I'm not 100% sure I'll email ND but I do still feel obligated to point this out even if it makes no difference >_>;
